BJP neat's, mins on a mission to highlight budget provisions.

  • New Delhi: The BJP has made an extensive plan to reach out to the common people and share with them key features of the Union budget as Union ministers and senior party leaders will fan across the country to hold interactions including town hall sessions to highlight the welfare and development proposals pledged in the budget.
  • While chief ministers of the BJP ruled states on Thursday held press conferences high lighting the budget provisions related to their respective states and the general welfare schemes, Union ministers and senior party functionaries will hold press conferences and town hall interactions at 50 different locations across the country on February 46
  • They have been suggested to speak about the budget provisions in an "easy to under- stand" way explaining how the benefits will matter for the individual beneficiaries.
  • The party has, for the first time, formed a nine-member committee under Rajya Sabha MP and senior party leader Sushil Modi to monitor the proper dissemination of information about the budget provisions up to the ground level.
  • The sessions by the senior functionaries will be followed on by their state and district col leagues for which the party has formed a four-member commit- tee in each state.
